10.1 Statutory Guidance and Codes of Practice

The Government has issued guidance relating to the definition of disability and codes of practice on employment and access to services and premises. These documents give practical guidance to help employers, service providers and people who are involved in selling, letting or managing property comply with the legislation. They can be used in evidence in any legal proceedings under the Act. The following are available from HMSO bookstores, telephone number printed below:
