Once
you are aware of the type of person you are looking to fit your
job vacancy, you can now design a "Job Specification"
profile. This outlines the "essential" and "desirable"
qualities which would make the ideal candidate. It will act
to focus your mind when advertising for the new job position and
remind yourself of the qualities you require when interviewing.
To design this
profile, simply summarise your Personal
Qualities list prioritising the essential or desirable
qualities - an example on the right. The example is quite basic,
but hopefully you will have a good idea how you might create and
utilise one in your own business.
